On March 6, 2019, the company organized a voluntary blood‑donation event to show compassion. A large number of employees enthusiastically participated in this public‑service initiative, rolling up their sleeves to donate their precious blood.
On March 5, to promote the spirit of Lei Feng and fulfill its corporate social responsibility, Zhejiang Zhongji Foundry and Forging Co., Ltd. joined forces with its Party branch and trade union to launch a public welfare initiative—the Lei Feng–inspired voluntary blood donation campaign—demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism through concrete actions.
The blood donation event was held on the first floor of the CIMC Office Building. Around 1:00 p.m., under the guidance of staff, participants carefully completed blood donation registration forms, had their blood pressure checked, and underwent blood tests. Only those who passed the screening were eligible to donate blood voluntarily. During the event, staff also actively educated employees about basic blood donation knowledge and provided important post-donation instructions.

Among the company’s employees who came to donate blood this time, some have participated in voluntary blood‑donation drives on multiple occasions. Through their concrete actions, they are fulfilling the noble duty of citizenship and expressing their sincere commitment to giving back to and caring for society, embodying a spirit of selfless dedication. Moreover, many frontline staff members set aside their busy schedules to make their way to the blood‑donation site, offering their heartfelt support.

They all expressed that participating in voluntary blood donation is highly meaningful. Voluntary blood donation is a benevolent act that benefits the country, the people, and oneself, and it is also a duty every citizen should fulfill. By donating their blood without compensation, individuals can help patients in urgent need of treatment and contribute their compassion to society.
