Due to the impact of the pandemic, the 2019 annual work report and management review meeting of Zhejiang Zhongji Foundry and Forging Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Zhongji Bearing Co., Ltd. was postponed and jointly held on April 25, 2020. The purpose of this meeting was to summarize the completion status of all company activities in 2019, implement the key tasks for 2020, identify opportunities for improvement, change requirements, and resource needs in the course of company operations, and ensure the continuous improvement of the management system.
At 8:00 a.m., more than 60 mid‑level and senior managers, along with key personnel, including the company’s general manager, Hu Weiyong, attended the meeting on time and carefully listened to the semi‑annual summary reports from each department and workshop for 2019. The reports briefly outlined the year’s performance against various targets and the status of completed tasks, with particular emphasis on an in-depth analysis of the work plans for 2020.
At 1:00 p.m., the participants divided into six groups to discuss and report on three issues: why oversight and management in the company often start but fail to finish, why tiered review processes are difficult to sustain, and why document‑based systems are either poorly implemented or bypass established procedures.
Finally, General Manager Hu Weiyong summarized the meeting, noting that all agenda items of the 2019 Management Review Meeting had been successfully completed. Following the meeting, all departments and workshops are encouraged to systematically review and consolidate both the issues identified and the achievements attained during production, translating the action items outlined in the management review report into tangible improvements in productivity. With the goal of ensuring the company’s sustained, high‑quality development, efforts should be intensified to enhance equipment management, elevate product quality, fully implement job responsibilities, and pursue cost reduction and efficiency gains, thereby comprehensively upgrading managerial capabilities and employees’ professional skills.
