On January 21, 2020, Zhejiang CIMC held its 2019 Annual Summary and Advanced Employee Recognition Conference in the Group’s canteen, reviewing past achievements and shortcomings while outlining plans for the future.
In 2019, amid a sustained economic downturn triggered by Sino-U.S. trade tensions, Zhejiang CIMC opened lower but closed higher, and by strengthening production planning and enhancing team management, it largely achieved the performance targets set for the year.
The conference solemnly commended the 2019 Advanced Work Sections, Outstanding Employees, Outstanding Cadres, and units excelling in equipment management, quality control, and environmental, safety, and energy management, as well as those recognized for their excellence in logistics services. In addition, each outstanding employee received a trophy and an envelope containing a cash reward.
Subsequently, Xiang Wenjian, the company’s deputy general manager, summarized the 2019 performance, acknowledging achievements while also identifying areas for improvement. He underscored the key priorities for 2020: continuously enhancing equipment management, rigorously strengthening quality assessments, fully implementing accountability at all levels, and consistently pursuing cost reduction and efficiency gains. By continually refining management practices, the company aims to bolster product competitiveness and expand its market share.

June 2021 marked the 20th National Safety Month. In active response to the national policy of “fulfilling safety responsibilities and promoting safe development,” and in earnest implementation of the General Secretary’s important instruction to “fundamentally eliminate accident hazards and effectively prevent major and especially serious accidents,” our company has ensured the smooth progress of the three-year special campaign for workplace safety, focusing on identifying and addressing safety risks and hidden dangers.
